Instead of flooding people's feeds with all-22 videos, I plan to keep all my film review videos kept in an article each week. Some key highlights may be posted on Instagram, the majority of clips will be posted on this website.

Starting on the first drive of the game. Miami blitzes a LB and a DB, one on each side. Cam doesn't make a call or switch the play and then it gets blown up instantly. Andrews took the blame for the sack, Thuney started pulling and Andrew didn't get there in time. This seems like typical growing pains for a new QB on the first drive of the game.

Very next play, Cam to White to get half of the yardage back from the sack. His first look was Edelman on a post, which was covered. So he checked down to James White instead. Due to pressure, Cam slides to the left and checks it to White, which caused him to miss a wide-open Harry coming across the middle, with help of the LB falling down. If he finds Harry they pick up the first down, instead, it's fourth down. None the less, good job by Cam for feeling the pressure and getting it to the check-down.

Last play of the First Quarter, a screen pass to Harry for about 6 yards. This is an ugly play for the N'keal Harry believers. While having a rough rookie year, his YAC was notably impressive and easily his greatest attribute. This play he got 6 yards and got arm tackled but a corner that's 6 inches shorter than him. He supposedly slimmed down this offseason to get quicker, so he may just not be as strong anymore. But if he can no longer be effective with YAC, what is he good at?

Impressive play by Ryan Izzo. He's running a drag, he's covered, so he stops and changes direction which gets him open and Cam is on the exact same page as him. Great play for both Izzo and Cam.

Byron Cowart, who had pretty much a throwaway year his rookie season, beats the center to blow up this draw play. He had a few good plays in this game. That's great to see with the uncertainty of Beau Allen.

The refs missed a pick play on Miami. Pats are in cover 1, Terrence Brooks gets picked by Preston Williams and the pass is completed to Gaskin. Obviously not anywhere near the line of scrimmage, should've been called,

It's plays like this that make me wonder if Gilmore just isn't up to speed or in shape. Grant easily outruns Gilmore coming across the field, Dmac and Gilmore both miss the tackle. Sloppy defense before the Phillips INT the next play.

Harry had a handful of plays in this game that were encouraging like this one. He won a curl route vs 20-year-old Noah Igbinoghene (I don't know either). While again, encouraging, he needs to do it more often and against tougher competition.

Jumping to 8 minutes left in the 4th. We got play action, Harry running an in, and Byrd running the post. Cam's first look was Harry coming across the middle, but the safety was quick to jump the route, so Cam tucks it and runs. Could've maybe had Byrd deep on that post, but it wasn't like he was wide open. That would've taken a pretty damn good throw. Either way, Cam was able to scramble for the first down. A perk to having a mobile QB.

Another example of a new QB on a new team. Cam has got to recognize that they are out numbered on the line 5/7 and either make an adjustment or switch out of that play. If he can't start doing that, he won't make it to week 4 in terms of health.

Derek Rivers, after being drafted in 2017 and being injured every single year, now has his first NFL sack. This is a very unfortunate play for Fitzpatrick. His first look is open across the middle, who falls on his ass. Also out wide right Grant has a step and a half on Gilmore. Maybe if Fitzpatrick was looking that way Jason McCourty (Playing Free Saftey) would've drifted over more. But good play my Rivers getting through in time so Fitzpatrick couldn't get rid of it.

Fitzpatrick missed yet another wide-open receiver coming across the middle. Instead, he takes off for the first down and gets it. But I don't know about you, I'd rather Grant have the ball in that situation than Fitzpatrick. Either way, they got the first down.

Gilmore overall didn't look like himself. Keeps outside leverage and Williams cuts inside for an easy pitch and catch. He may have been guarding a possible outside break, but a few plays looked like this throughout the day with Gilmore. A good example is JJones in the middle of the field with really tight coverage on Isaiah Ford.

The JC Jackson Int was beautiful coverage play. JoeJuan Williams with the tight, physical coverage could've gotten called for PI, JJones had good coverage over the middle, and Gilmore was in position with the receiver not even trying. JC Jackson comes off his man to come over and secure the game. All around good play.

Overall, good win. A lot of questions about Cam, the Receivers, and the defense and they all played really well. I would like to see it against a real team, which is what we're getting week 2 vs the Seahawks.
